Bel Air: Crafted From The Cane Fields
Mauritius may be best known for its turquoise lagoons and white sand shores, but inland, another kind of beauty grows.
Framed by rugged mountains and lush forests, endless rows of sugar canes sway gently in the wind — a landscape as iconic as the island’s coast to locals. These fields have long shaped Mauritius’s cultural and economic history. For Oceano, they hold something even more personal.
Our founder Harriet grew up in the wild south of Mauritius, surrounded by sugar cane fields. Today, our atelier sits on the very same land — where the past and present meet in quiet continuity.
To honour that legacy, we’ve created the Bel Air range: a new collection of rings, bracelets, and necklaces inspired by the textural beauty of the sugar cane stalk. Each piece is sculpted with love and care, embodying the unique ridges of sugar canes in refined, stackable silhouettes. Easy to wear and rich in meaning, they add just the right amount of volume and texture to your everyday style.
The Bel Air pieces are a tribute to the land that raised us, and the sweetness that still lingers in the air. Discover the full range today.
