Astroea Inspiration
“I wanted to make a modern ring with clean lines, a new way of setting the pearl to see its beauty. The name Astroea makes me think of the stars and the universe, a reference to the ring shining like a star.” - our founder & designer, Harriet Batchelor
The Astroea ring cleverly utilises negative space and rich textures to make a boldly minimal statement. It recreates the feeling of shimmering stars through its beautiful diamante texture, and lets the pearl take the spotlight with its unique cut-out setting.

What Is Diamanté Jewellery?
One of the defining features of the Astroea ring is its diamante band. Derived from the word diamond, this special finish is a technique that Harriet learned while studying jewellery making and soldering in Florence, Italy.
Much like its namesake gem, a diamante finish has a multifaceted surface that creates an all-over sheen. It offers a subtle lustre but is undeniably luxurious.
